The Festival Al Carrer was first held in 1990 and since then we haven’t stopped reinventing the dramatic arts to bring them to all audiences. Year after year, the festival has grown to become one of the most important events of its kind in Catalonia. Laughter, surprises, magic and applause; don’t miss it!
Music, circuses, puppet shows, dance, theatre or animation, we’ve got it all. And so close that you’ll feel like you’re one of the stars.
During the first weekend in July, joy and excitement fill the streets of our city.
We aim for variety every year, but during the three days of the festival we can promise you high quality and a real street-art feel to the programmed events. City streets and squares such as Can Xic park, the gardens of Magdalena Modolell or the Ca n’Amat Museum are transformed into the best possible stages.
The best artists
Each edition includes a session for professionals aimed at artists, companies, cultural managers and programmers and covers all professional aspects of street art.
