Want a taste of Viladecans?

We can tell you now it tastes of local produce from the fields, of a dash of imagination in the kitchen, of innovative tapas, of tradition and more. In short, of a city at the cutting edge of Baix Llobregat gastronomy.

In Viladecans there’s a range of gastronomy on offer, in which local produce straight from the Parc Agrari (Agricultural Park) plays an important part. From tapas to enjoy at the bar with friends, to menus with the ‘five forks & spoons’ mark where you can enjoy the good things in life. In Viladecans, we’ve got it all!

To ensure everything is just right, the Hoteliers Guild demands the highest standards of its members. It’s a plus you won’t fail to notice when you choose any of the city’s establishments!

In addition, the Guild organises different initiatives that may already sound familiar to you.

That’s right, we’re talking about gastronomic events such as the Fira de Sant Isidre (St Isidore Fair) with the traditional Muestra de Frutos del Campo (Fruit Show) organised by the Agricultural Cooperative, filling the Cúbic exhibition venue in Viladecans with endless flavours and activities for all the family

There’s also the Mostra Gastronòmica (Food Fair) held in the Plaza de la Mediterrània where you can try our produce and take part in gastronomic activities. There’s something for everyone.

GASTRONOMIC EVENTS

Once a year, during the Fira de Sant Isidre (Saint Isidore Fair) the Viladecans Muestra Gastronómica (Food Fair) never fails to delight all palates. What is it? It’s a festival of light bites & snacks that showcases our gastronomy. Chefs use local produce from the Parc Agrari (Agricultural Park) and all their imagination to surprise you with their creations.

The Muestra Gastronómica is an opportunity to see what’s cooking in the city’s kitchens. Tasting evenings in the Plaza de la Mediterrànea are accompanied by the best music for a perfect experience, so, buen provecho!

What better way to enjoy a day out with friends? Each year in the Cubic venue, the Viladecans Guild organises Homer Simpson’s dream festival. It’s all laid on: live music, canapés, ‘pinchos’ (a traditional ‘tapa’ or bar snack popular in the north of Spain), light bites, all at km 0 from the Parc Agrari right next door.
