If you need to leave old furniture or junk on the street to be picked up by the waste collection service, the first thing you need to know is what day the service will be in your neighborhood. Here you will find it. Remember to leave old furniture and utensils next to your doorstep or in your building, between 8pm and 10pm (to avoid making noise on the street after 10pm). The next morning, the service will pick up. Please note that this service is exclusive to individuals.

Depending on the neighborhood where you live, you will need to lower your furniture and utensils on a different day of the week:
SUNDAY: Barri Antic, Eixample, Center, Montserratina, Molí-La Riera.
MONDAY: Alba-rosa, Can Guardiola, La Muntanyeta, Mas Ratés.
TUESDAY: Torre-roja, El Ginestar, Campreciós, Molí-La Riera, Mas Ratés (Montserrat Massif).
WEDNESDAY: Sales, Sant Jordi Group, Gabrielists.
THURSDAY: Poblat Roca, Can Sellarès, Can Batllori, Torrent Ballester.
Whenever possible, you should leave the furniture neatly stacked next to your doorway, always keeping in mind that they do not impede the crosswalk. If you can't leave it next to the portal, look for a place where it won't be disturbed, never next to the rubbish bins so that it doesn't make it difficult for the public or the garbage truck to use it.
There are some trash that can't be left on the street because we pick them up:
- Construction waste (rubble, glass, sanitary ware, etc.): must be taken to the Municipal Landfill
- Hazardous waste (fluorescents, paints, solvents, oils, etc.): must be taken to the Municipal Landfill
- Vegetable remains: can only be left in special areas
- Appliances: must be taken to the Municipal Garbage Disposal
- Rubbish in general: should be left in rubbish bins
You can also take the old furniture and utensils to the Municipal Garbage Disposal if you are not feeling well the day the service passes through your neighborhood. The landfill is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Please note that the landfill is free for individuals and that if you use it, you will enjoy discounts on the amount of waste paid with the water bill.
The furniture collection service does not work on public holidays. Therefore, if the day after the furniture is dropped off in your area is a public holiday, you will have to wait a week to pick it up or take it directly to the Municipal Garbage Disposal on a working day.
